- About Us -

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a wonderful learning environment for children aged 1.5 to 6 years. Inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori’s work, we emphasize the importance of early learning. We offer real-life experiences across various areas—educational, practical, sensorial, cultural, language, art, food, and music by providing opportunities for exploration and creativity, fostering independence, humanity, and a better world for our children.

Montessori Education

Montessori Education, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, focuses on creating supportive environments with special learning materials to help children develop into their best selves. In 1939, Dr. Montessori brought her educational philosophy to India, where it has since flourished. Her methods have been embraced by educators across the country, helping countless children learn and grow. The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), founded by Dr. Montessori in 1929, continues to uphold and promote her educational principles globally.

The Montessori House wishes to provide an authentic Montessori experience for you and your child and is committed to adhering to the practices mentioned below

Our Goal

At The Montessori House, we embrace Dr. Maria Montessori’s approach of mixed-age group classrooms. Toddlers aged 1.5 to 3 years learn together in one environment, while children aged 3 to 6 years share another. In these environments, children benefit from learning from one another and helping each other, even as adults provide individual guidance based on each child’s needs.

We aim to offer an authentic Montessori experience for you and your child by adhering to the following practices:

  • Personalized Learning: Our environment allows children to learn at their own pace based on their abilities and interests. They can work individually, in small groups, or in large groups.
  • Prepared Environment: We carefully design our spaces to be beautiful, orderly, and accessible, meeting the developmental needs of each child.
  • Hands-On Learning: Inspired by Maria Montessori’s belief that “the hand is the instrument of the mind,” our concrete learning materials help children understand abstract concepts and develop a deeper comprehension of various topics.
  • Freedom and Responsibility: Children have the freedom to choose their activities and move freely within the environment, fostering independence and self-motivation. They also learn to follow community rules and are guided when needed.
  • Community and Character Building: Our Montessori setting teaches children how a society works by encouraging care for others and the environment, cooperation, and collaboration. We focus on character development to help children become responsible and caring individuals.

We are committed to providing a nurturing, supportive environment where your child can thrive and develop into an active, independent, and self-motivated individual.
